Here is the last of my Yosemite photo spills! 🙂 It was pretty sad to leave the beautiful and homey cabin that hosted us during the trip, but I was also pretty excited for the drive back. I actually really like long car rides. Any long span of transportation is welcome by me; it’s a period of suspension time where I don’t feel like I could do anything productively anyway and thus don’t feel any pressure whatsoever. I usually pass the time listening to my music, singing along to the radio very off-tunely (to the angst of my family), and looking outside the window dreaming up story or film plots.
In this cute dining room, many delicious meals were consumed by hungry post-hikers! 🙂 (Mainly me.)
Here are us four “kids”, all goofing off and having a good time. We are making a “2015” with our hands, but it has been brought to my attention that it is easily mistaken for “YOLO” at first glance.
I was happy that Charlie got so many amazing candid photos of Bridgette and I! She can be quite photo-shy at times. Visit his site for more photography!
All in all, it was the perfect small getaway. It’s so nice to escape the routines of life at times and find time to allow ourselves to relax, eat good food, and stop to smell the roses! (In this case, fresh pine 🙂 Thanks for following me on my visual recap of my trip! Hopefully there will be more travel posts coming soon 😀
