Hey guys!!! I missed blogging so much for some reason, even though I can go for weeks without posting. I guess being far from home does that to me.
So I’m at CSSSA for the next month or so! It’s located at Calarts in Los Angeles, and I’m having a great time. Most of the greatness comes from feeling like I can learn a lot and really improve my writing, WHICH IS AWESOMEEE
And of course, there are so many talented people here, so it’s great. I don’t have too many friends back home who write, and being surrounded by people with similar passions is really liberating and inspiring.
Here’s a picture I took yesterday morning. I’m wearing my student ID card and key on a lanyard I brought from home. The rilakkuma is also from home! I also had to run to the Walmart nearby and buy a USB stick for class, because the computers in the writers lounge can’t connect to internet.
I’m having a good time here, but I also do miss home quite a bit.
