Vegas 2011 Part 1!!

Okay, yayy back from Vegas! Didn’t unpack yet, but I feel like blogging, so here we go!
I’m going to split the Vegas log into parts by the way, don’t want to overwhelm you with words and pictures and blah blah blah

The plane ride was short! Only two hours? Something like that

Arrived at Vegas at night time? Stayed at the Luxor hotel, located right on the Strip.
Looks like this:
It’s all Egyptian themed, pretty cool. It’s a nice hotel!

So after we dropped our stuff off in our room, we met up with my dad and grabbed a quick dinner.
I was starving LOL. (what else is new)

got spaghetti with meatballs, didn’t taste good but was expensive. welcome to vegas.

sister got a quesadilla (am i spelling that right???) , was actuallypretty yummy!
So after we all ate, we walked outside, to New York New York! It’s actually a hotel, I think? but it’s themed like New York….pretty obvious.
really really crappy lighting, but whatever, live with it 🙂

anyway, the thing about vegas is all of their popular hotels are themed. It’s like, their “thing”, along with strip clubs and casinos.

Went on the roller coaster at New York New York!!! I got pretty nervous when we were going up, and the drop felt pretty huge, but it was SO MUCH FUN.
After that, my mom said there was a water show at Bellagio (another popular hotel) so we walked a crapload to see that. It was pretty. (didn’t take any pictures.)
my shoulders hurt sooo much from carrying bags though, I carried a lot of stuff while my sister ran around doing nothing and bothering me =.=

yup, by the time we got home, it was almost 1? showered and slept like a mothafucka

Mitsuwa/Kinokuniya

Went to Mitsuwa and Kinokuniya last weekend, and since I have my camera back, I’ll finally put up pictures haha.

So at Kinokuniya, I just bought one magazine. I didn’t feel like buying a Popteen one, but I did pick up a Seventeen.

I would have bought a boy band magazine, like Myojo or Potato, but they were all mostly about Hey! Say! Jump!

MORIMOTO RYUTARO GOT FIRED FROM THE BAND BECAUSE HE WAS CAUGHT SMOKING UNDERAGE. it is allll the rage right now.

The legal age to smoke in Japan is 20 years old…. I feel bad for him, but I was never really a big fan, so I’m not too upset. :'( Still kind of sorry for him though….

Anyway, I bought the Seventeen issue because I always buy Seventeen.

There are a few cute makeup tutorials in there, might do another video.

The magazine came with a freebie, a bottle….case? holder?

idk it seems kind of pointless but it’s somewhat insulated so it keeps your drink cool.

I don’t see these a lot in America, but they are THE SHIT in asia ^__^

okay so I just bought one magazine at Kinokuniya this time…

at Mitsuwa, I didn’t buy much either, just a “naive” face wash. the brand is called naive….it’s pretty popular in japan? and i see it all the time in my magazines. anyway i bought the pomengranate one, it works well and smells good! it was about 7 bucks? so, not that pricey!

fail spelling of cleansing LOL

I also bought some japanese candy (<—the best) and ramen. yum yum. (don’t have pictures of those though)

Pancakes in my tummy

Yes I can actually make pancakes.
Surprised?
Anyway since my sister’s home I made pancakes to welcome her and also because I wanted an excuse to eat them. LOL
PANCAKES WITH NUTELLA AND STRAWBERRIES ZOMG NOM NOMNOM

don’t worry, I didn’t eat all of those myself….
almost cut my fucking finger off when I was slicing the strawberries

someone should invent strawberry slicers or something
maybe they already have those?

what went down last WEekend

okayyy so I know I didn’t post all weekend.
lol….my bad!
BUT
I have a legit reason (excuse)~!
My dad and sister went to Lake Tahoe Friday and spent the whole weekend there (coming back sometime today) and my dad took my camera because it’s amazing.
And I don’t have another camera, because I lost the charger.
And we all know my phone takes the lousiest quality pictures.
So there’s my excuse ^__^

Anyway I had a sleepover over the weekend (with Tiffany) , went to Mitsuwa and Kinokuniya with Tiffany, and watched a ton of dramas and anime. She made me watch Stand Up!!!
I was going to eventually, it’s just one of those things I never get around to…
I mean, c’mon, Ninomiya, YAMAPI, OGURI, and Hiroki are ALL the main leads in that drama.

How can you POSSIBLY not watch that?
The only thing that pisses me off is the plot. So these four guys are supposedly all virgins, and they’re 17.
They’re the only virgins in their entire city and are made fun of for it.
Sounds okay right?
EXCEPT THESE FOUR GUYS ARE SMOKINNNNNNN. so like wtf =.=

okay anyway, I went through some extreme boredom today after playing a few hours of tennis.
I decided to have some fun with makeup and followed a few of Michelle Phans tutorials.
First I did the Hatsune Miku look, but that failed because I ran out of eyelash glue and have no circle lenses. =.=
Then I did her sunset whatever look, and that one turned out OKAY. but I’m too tan, so you can’t even see eyeshadow on my eyes anymore unless it’s some hideously unnatural color, like bright blue or white or neon green or something.
Anyway, pics….

So tan =.=
I was too lazy to put any makeup on anywhere else but my eyes though.
I figure it would have looked better if I had put on some concealer, foundation, maybe lip gloss.
Too lazy to even put on mascara…ahh sloth is a sin.

Once my dad and sister get home, I’ll make a few posts of some random stuff I bought at Mitsuwa/Kinokuniya and whatever else comes to mind.
