Banana Republic Fall 2016

So excited to present my second collaboration with Banana Republic! Their fall collection has a lot of pastels, muted colors and clean cuts…erfect for my styling tastes. I just came back from competing in Miss Asian Global (will be posting about that soon, so stay tuned!) It was an overwhelming and completely immersive experience. During the pageant I was working on this post as well because I wanted to get it up as soon as possible. My mom and I have always been huge fans of Banana Republic. The brand is so timeless and versatile that both of us can find pieces that suit our style and wardrobe, even with the age and preference differences.

I was happy to model this sweater and these slacks. It is a bit more professional than my usual style, but I think it is great for work, casual interviews or meetings. Since I am very tall, it is sometimes hard to buy clothing there without it being way too short! I still have a lot of great clothing pieces from China, Korea and Japan! Recently, Shirley Chieng, the creator and designer of Homanz reached out to me for a collaboration. I love this bag from Homanz. Our brand are selling to Lotte Department Store in Korea right now. I thought it would be perfect for my upcoming trip to Korea next week. Bags are probably my biggest weakness. I am a huge fan of bags and am definitely down to splurge on bags that are worth it. Partly because of function, and partly because I love the design and architecture of bags, they are an essential part of my wardrobe.

If you’ve ever sat next to me in class, or studied with me at a cafe somewhere, you’ll know I put a lot of consideration into my daily accessories. Most of my tech accessories and cases are pink, high quality and match together into a girly aesthetic. I was so excited when Sudio,  a Swedish designer earphones brand reached out to me for a collaboration. Naturally, I chose the pink and rose gold Vasa earphones to feature on the blog.
