Winter vacations with my family always take place somewhere with beautiful weather… and along goes another year of blessed weather for ally. will I ever experience a true, snowy, white winter? as we ponder this question, feel free to view my posts from last year’s winter break (in hawaii!)
Cancun is my second mexico destination – the first time I went to mexico was to cabo san lucas for my 18th birthday party. this vacation definitely had a different vibe: summed up in….
- all inclusive wine and dine
- tanning, not from touristing but just the good ol’ beach tan
- digging through the resort’s makeshift ‘library’ to find good beach reads
- watching the sunsets peacefully with my sister, with the pride of another hard quarter of school behind me
- planning in fun collabs for instagram shots (shoutout to jessica fang for the beautiful jewelry)
and most of all, happy to spend time with my family, my wonderful, kind parents and my hilarious sister, who is really my sister in all senses of the word. we had arguments about social media, full-fledged, emotionally-staked arguments, all while sharing cake and tea at a resort restaurant (obviously we know how to do all-inclusive the right way.)
