Hi guys! I had an amazing experience at College Fashion Week this past Saturday as a VIP Influencer for hercampus. You can read my prepost for this exciting event here to read more. I didn’t know what exactly to expect, but when I arrived, I could feel the vibe of excited fashionista and bloggers immediately. Everyone was dressed super cute, and the sponsors were super kind and prepared gifts for everyone. They super-swagged me out and gave me a packed exclusive insider gift which I’ll go over later.
There were raffles, photo booths, a EWC eyebrow bar, and lots of healthy snacks and drink booths set up for entertainment before the runway portion. I had two mini frozen acai bowls because it was so delicious!
The actual runway portion was very unique and enjoyable because we got to watch real college girls modeling designs from My Social Canvas, Foray, Ali & Ariel, Frill Clothing, and Bow & Drape. I really appreciated their confidence as well as the diversity-it was great to see the girls having fun and rocking the runway. Although my style lately has been a bit more street, I nonetheless loved seeing the looks that were put together for each portion.
And on top of just the lovely and one-of-a-kind experience, I got hooked up with two bags of amazing gifts from the sponsors. Among the presents were: Juicy Couture perfume from Perfumania, a Rebecca Minkoff pouch, two fitbit flex2s from Fitbit, a Triple Sec spray and free blowout pass from Drybar, tights and legwear from Maidenform, body lotions from EWC, a magazine from StyleWatch, Essie nail polish and snacks! The other two sponsors were Vince Camuto and Bertha Watches.
I actually drove all the way from San Diego to Los Angeles to attend, and then drove back to San Diego afterwards to return to my business fraternity’s quarterly retreat. I locked my keys in the trunk after the event but I had such a great time that it was still totally worth all the commute and key struggles.
this post is brought to you by her campus media and its college fashion week brand partners. I can’t wait till this show is in town again for the 6th time next year.
thanks for reading and rock on
