Spring is a time when you start to feel a lifting freedom in your bones, this time of year when the winter lifts. When spring comes, it’s as I have no longer any impressions of colder days; all my thoughts are consumed with the plants flowering, everything around us wanting to grow, grow, grow. And yes, those are dried roses in my hands. I just grew attached- there’s something pretty about how they dried, so the whole bouquet has been residing in a white porcelain jar in my room all quarter.
