I took this montage around this time last year while sitting in the car with my old boyfriend. I was looking back through some old pictures on my phone and found this, and I just watched it for quite a while. I think there’s something so beautiful in the streak of light near the horizon, and the quiet passing of the cars. Seeing things like this make me really nostalgic, and leave me with a strange sort of heaviness. I don’t really know what else I can say about this, other than “I think there should be an Adele song playing in the background.”
I wish I were a good photographer so I could capture the quiet yet beautiful essence of moments like these better. The best I have for now is writing, which is pretty good, since words can be amazing on their own.
