Kate Spade launched it’s May collection, encouraging it’s customers to “Take a Walk on the Wild Side.” Yes, I have started working sales at Kate Spade. Yes, it has been keeping me busy. Yes, it is the best senior year job ever! And yes, most of my income goes back to buying things from the store. ^^”
This outfit is somewhat inspired by the May collection collection, which features a lot of flamingo, elephant, and spinoff leopard print. My ensemble is much more muted however.
My favorite things about work are meeting amazing customers that I can make some genuine connections with, hitting my commission goals, and also being only a few stores down from my boyfriend who works at Michael Kors. I used to always go to the Stanford mall, and now I am really always there! It is a beautiful workplace and I am so happy to be doing my first (and probably only) retail job at an outdoor mall where the atmosphere is happy, relaxed, and posh. For some loyal readers, you might know that Kate Spade is one of my favorite brands in terms of it’s vision, inspiration, and branding. I think every girl can find something to relate to and love within the brand. I get to wear amazing outfits to work and heels as well! One of the reasons I blog is so I have some reason to wear heels, because I am probably one of the tallest Asian girls at the staggering height of 5’9. You won’t catch me wearing heels day to day, but now I can wear them to work paired with my whimsical, Kate Spade inspired work outfits!
