Ways you can start creating content as a high school or college student
Today we’re looking at ways you can start creating content as a student. This video goes over five ways you can get started right now. I’m also sharing some practical tips on how to actually get started that I learned through high school and college.
As an additional resource, I’ve attached a photo for you with the key takeaways from this video. (For those of you who like visuals! 🙂
You can start experimenting with your different interests and see what’s translating well into content. When I was growing up, I liked fashion, photoshoots, journaling, art, making videos, and telling stories- and I thought that would translate well into building a personal brand (which is what I’m doing now, hello!)
If there’s a hobby you really like, you can start creating and experimenting around that. That’s usually the best and most natural way to get started-especially as a student where you have a lot of other things asking for your time!
If you’re totally lost on ideas, you can also start gathering data on analytics so you can get an idea of what people are actually looking at
Just starting a schedule, having a plan, and sticking through it will help you create content as a student. As a busy student, I know it can feel overwhelming to add something else to your plate. When I was in undergrad, I always felt like I was drowning in coursework. But believe me, even with a few hours a week, you can start building something really cool! The key is consistency.
see you soon and happy creating!
