The rain beats mercilessly on the windows of the car as you drive out to run an errand. You look around, seeing the gray haze that the sky has become, the cement roads slippery with rain, and the blurred headlights of the cars driving around you. I hate these moments. In these moments, I miss the California sun and wonder where it’s hiding; in these moments I question my desires to study in rainier states. But I can never stop the rain, so I go with it and I try to embrace it. Wearing this black felt beret adds a quiet edge and mystery to my outfit; with this new persona matching the moody weather, I can skim over puddles feeling more at home.
I love this colorblocked jumper from TBdress. It is thin, but surprisingly warm! Light pink is my favorite color, I will practically wear anything that is this shade of pink. Classic me: trying to add a more enigmatic feel to my outfit but still ending up with a stripe of girly pink. Oh well, maybe it’s for the better. Pink is always charming. Pink is uplifting.
I know there are plenty of rain-lovers out there. Hopefully I can start feeling some of that love as more rain begins to fall from the sky. Or I will just wish that one day, one of my silly rain-dances will come through!
