I’m tougher now, I’ve changed. I went from hating being alone, to slowly accepting the mundane reality of it, to transforming it into something healing and soothing. It’s cold outside, and there are always lonely moments, but I let myself drown in work and the processions of the day-to-day- and looking back, it’s not so bad. My heart is free.
This outfit is dedicated to those edgy pieces that you find here and there. When I see something like this, this kind of thought process goes through my head: “….Wow. Well, I’m not really sure if I could pull that off….. but honestly I love it so imma just do this.”
I love the outside inspirations taken up in fashion trends. For example, when I saw these cartoon donut, heart, and cassette appliques on this shirt when taking a peek around Zara on black friday, I felt like it was too adorable to pass up. The lines were massive, and even though I’m not the type to shop online, I had to make an exception. I bought this when I was visiting my home in the Bay Area, but I rediscovered Zara in Los Angeles and now I always have to drop by to see their collections and new pieces. After coming to Los Angeles, I’ve fallen totally and completely in love with the brand. I love how everything fits and I think they do a great job of combining clean and chic silhouttes with fun textures and designs. It’s so my style ermagawd.
So anyway, this piece came in the mail and I tried it on and honestly it is one of those things that are pretty hard to pull off, as I predicted. It’s a little small, and the material is pretty thin yet warm. The turtleneck is also interesting…I normally steer clear of intense turtlenecks but honestly this sweater is just cute.
Let’s fly free and delicious ladies!
