This downtown is one of the highlights of my city! I just love Palo Alto’s University Avenue… it has countless amazing cafes and restaurants! Recently, I discovered the La Boulange of Palo Alto, which has a beautiful glass terrace; sitting here causes me to lose my sense of geography, it really gives one the feeling of being in a quaint gazebo in France!
One of my favorite purchases in the past few months is definitely this versatile tartan scarf from Forever 21. It instantly adds not just warmth, but an”I tried” element to any outfit! I wear it with white, wear it with black; I wear it as a scarf, I wear it as a cape, I wear it as a wrap. I like to wear small necklaces under my scarves, I think it adds a cute and personal touch to any outfit! This lovely personalized one was sent to me courtesy of Taking it Personal, a store specializing in unique handmade jewelry. For this look, I combined some southern looking elements with a cute hair bun. This style is something I often see in Japanese magazines, mangas and street style.
