If there’s one place I’m always down to go to, it’s the city. I love being in the city, most big metropolitan downtowns. I really believe that places like the city can fuel my dreams, and the dreams of many people. I love to see the store fronts of high end designers, I love the display of the clothing and the art and the glamour that the scene encompasses. I don’t know my exact relation to these kinds of window displayed scenes, but they’re inspiring just the same. Steps sound louder and stronger against the cement, buildings are taller and bigger, the potential feels like a blanket around you.

Denim Days with Tobi
Dress- Tobi // Watch- Kate Spade
Happy Sunday everyone!
I’m back in the Bay Area for winter break. It’s colder than I remembered. I find myself missing the sun, but then I really shouldn’t be complaining because the weather is still mild compared to lots of other places I’m sure. These days I’ve been pretty busy and haven’t been hanging out much, but my friend is coming down from Irvine to visit near the end of break, which should be a blast! These photos are modeling Tobi’s Jeima Shift Dress which they kindly sent to me as part of their new collection a while back.
I love to wear dresses because I like flowy and girly pieces. Depending on the dress, there is also a good amount of versatility in terms of warmth- throw on a pair of tights and a shirt or jackets and bring a bit of good ol’ summer back into your day! I wore this one with a casual denim shirt that I bought in Shanghai a few summers ago.
Have a great day everyone! My hair is still brown in these photos, but I have photos coming on the way with my new black hair so definitely stay tuned for those. <3
UCLA Campus Shoots- my first finals are over!
Bag- Kate Spade// Shirt- Forever 21 // Hat-Urban Outfitters
“I think I like you…I think I’m going to like you….” -Urban Zakapa// This is how the song I’m listening to begins…
With finals week of my first quarter in college over, I feel a familiar weight lifted! For now, we are free. I’ve stopped thinking about love for the time being, but little instances come and go that leave me happy and feeling like I could be in love again someday soon. It’s a nice feeling; hopeful, at least. 🙂 This is an outfit I wore often in Asia (minus the hat!) and I wanted to share with all of you guys. Very simple, very easy, and cute with anything from black boots with crew socks to sneakers!
Happy Monday readers <3
Last Summer
These photos were taken in the summer, and already my world has changed phenomenally. What I can relate to now still is that youthful feeling of hope and faith. These photos were taken at a crossing road point in my life, I didn’t know fully how to interpret the past behind me because it was unstable. There were so many things that I wanted affirmation on before I felt like I could really decide how I felt about myself, love, and where I was going. Waiting on factors outside your control leads always to a shaky passage of time.
