I toured New York on a somewhat broken heart. My afternoon in central park was spent in- ironically, a floral sweetheart dress.
The cause of my distress was from the feeling of separation, via distance. I had spent my last two weeks in business camp with the perfect perfect boy, in Boston, but that happiness didn’t follow suit as I packed up my bags and left for New York. The separation during those few days felt the worst. I was still in the East Coast!! I was only a few hours away distance wise, so close, yet so far. And I knew that by the end of the week, I would be again packing up my bags- this time for the West Coast, which felt like a death sentence in terms of distance.

Cute, fun and girly outfit. It doesn’t get more fun than pink, polka dots, and a backpack that holds promise of adventure! Obviously you can dress this down and make it a lot more wearable and casual by wearing sneakers (like Converse or Vans), or by wearing some simple flats. (I love Sam Edelman and Aldo flats.)
