The second half of the trip was spent visiting various beaches in the daytime, and hitting the same downtown at nighttime. By our third and fourth nights, Neta and I had already made some close friends. We befriended two local college students studying tourism, and exchanged our cultures while making fun memories! We ate a lot of seafood after the first two or so days, and two of our meals were actually Japanese! (A few days away from the Bay Area and the Asian food cravings had already hit us hard.)
On our second-to-last day, we walked across the marina to Medano beach. I bought a peach parasol to carry around with me on the trip, and the height difference between Neta and I just so perfectly results in me constantly hitting her head with my umbrella when we walk around. Of course I can be expected to carry around a parasol and a selfie stick. Yup, I am (unabashedly?) that girl…
We checked out Mango Deck, a restaurant and tourist hotspot recommended by many of our friends who visit Cabo frequently, but decided instead to eat at the Office. (One of our local friends works there actually!) The octopus dish that we ordered was fantastic and I loved the colorful decorations and setting. The customized “Wanderlust” tank top was a gift from Qtee. I’m planning on bringing it around to all my travels this year 🙂
Another really fun thing we did was take a small sightseeing cruise with our friend Samantha 🙂 The music was so fun and upbeat, and we lay down on netting with our faces right by the water. It was sky in all four directions, and I was happily swallowed by the beauty of the world around me.
Anyway, all in all, Cabo was a blast and the days passed almost too quickly. We were so sad to leave and switch-off vacation mode! But until next time 🙂 Andd now it’s back to normal posts for me! Stay tuned <3
