if you want something, go after it. It’s the best advice that I could ever give. Don’t let anything stop you from taking the first step; don’t listen to negativity, don’t listen to self-doubt, don’t listen to insecurity. Sometimes, don’t even listen to the conceptions you’ve always held you. These factors aren’t you in your entirety. They are can never understand how much those seeds, of dreams, mean to you, or the potential that each might hold.
Take the first step. Get out of your bed, get away from your computer screen, and step into this world that is waiting for you with vibrant colors and boundless experiences.
Your first step will lead you to the second. Don’t think about your path. Just let your steps guide you.
I paired up with Good Row clothing for a set of lovely collaborations. This post features the Between the Lines blouse. They’re a small but well thought out clothing boutique that supports a a great cause- women’s homelessness. 10% of the proceeds go to Skid Row, an area in Los Angeles downtown where many of these women currently need help. Los Angeles is beginning to feel more like a home, and I’m learning more about the different communities that make up the diverse social and cultural structure of the city.
