Hi readers! Today I shot some pictures of a new parka that I bought from Abercrombie a few weeks ago. (It was a purchase long overdue.) Even though I live in California, the weather still gets too cold for my liking at times. And this year, El Nino effects have been hitting pretty hard. From going to Los Angeles back to the Bay Area, I can definitely feel a spike in the cold temperature and I decided to buy a parka when I was out shopping with my best friend in San Francisco. This one was 40% off during one of Abercrombie’s holiday sales, and I bought one in a navy color- I’ve been buying navy a lot recently because I feel like it complements my hair color well.
For all those of you who might be skeptical about the actual need of a parka in Los Angeles, I would say it’s necessary if you get cold easily. Especially being on a campus like UCLA- an extensive amount of walking (sometimes late night to the library) is required. That can easily be up to forty minutes of absolute misery, or forty minutes of listening to music and enjoying the walk. Definitely try to invest in a nice parka!
