Hi readers! It feels like it’s been a while since I put up a post, since I’ve been posting pretty consistently these last few months. I am currently feeling pretty under the weather. I attended a hackathon last weekend and I’m pretty sure I’m sick from staying up until 6am working on front-line design. 🙁 Hopefully I will get better soon before my birthday…it is next Monday 🙂 This beautiful scarf was a Christmas gift. Presents from special people are the most valuable things! These photos were shot by Ed Tran at Little Italy.
I don’t have too much I want to or feel able to say out loud, but I have a lot of thoughts towards the recent tragedy that has happened in my community. Someone from my grade who I have known since elementary school took his life a few days ago. This is the second time this kind of incidence has happened this year at my school. This time I had so many unsaid words to the person that I was planning to express soon. I never got the chance.
It makes me sad to think of the unspeakable pain that youth must feel to take their life into their own hands at such an age. I encourage everyone to speak their mind to people, start conversations, and extend a hand for help if ever needed. I’m realizing that life can be too unexpected for important things to be put off until a more “convenient time,” don’t ever take time for granted. My deepest condolences to the family and close friends.
On a brighter note, although I have been painfully sick these past few days, I started watching “My Love from Another Star,” which everyone in China talked about last summer. It is definitely a funny drama. Hope everyone has been well.
Stay tuned!
